The business simulation CHROmium is designed to support P&O leaders in their development and helping them to build the right capabilities for the future. The aim of the program is to evolve from being a P&O Business Partner to a successful, pro-active, trusted P&O Business Leader.
InContext interviewed multiple Novartis employees of P&O and other departments to get insight in the dynamics and challenges the P&O leaders face in their day-to-day work. These have been translated to the 2-day immersive business simulation CHROmium consisting of four cases, with the backbone being the P&O Strategy.
It is designed to give the experience of “a day in the life” of a company board member, Supported by our DEBS platform the participants get the opportunity to play the roles of members of the executive committee of the fictional pharmaceutical company Nexarus.
Participants learn from and with each other. They appreciate they get the opportunity to behave like they do in real-life situations and receive instant feedback. This way, they are able to practice in a safe environment and develop the skills and capabilities needed in their daily work.
From a learning point of view, it was really great to have the opportunity to wear different hats within the cases and to learn that we actually do have the ability to understand and influence what goes into the decisions that need to be made.
